Assistant Manager II

Dollar Tree - 1409 Altamont Avenue - Responsibilities:
Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities;
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns;
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas;
Perform opening and closing procedures;
Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities;
Maintain promotional fixtures and displays' effectiveness;
Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record-keeping (including payroll, scheduling, deposits) and loss prevention;
Maintain store areas to company standards and protect assets including cash;
Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff follow them;
Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates;
Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and associates;
Maintain store cleanliness (bathrooms, floors, trash, etc.);
Other duties as assigned
