Dental Care of Round Lake Beach is looking for an experienced Business Assistant to join our team. The team describes itself as collaborative, compassionate, easy-going, fast-paced and goal-oriented. We care about our patients and about each other, and we like to get things done together.

• Greet patients and give them a warm, welcoming front-office experience
• Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
• Check patients in and out and keep their records accurate
• Verify insurance, explain treatment costs and collect payments
• Answer phones and keep the front office running smoothly
• Work closely with the doctor and clinical team

• At least 1 year of dental office experience (required).Business Assistant experience at another dental office is ideal.
• Experience with
  Dentrix
  (preferred)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Organized, reliable and comfortable in a fast-paced office
• A positive, team-first attitude

• Monday and Tuesday: 8:40 AM - 6:00 PM
• Wednesday and Thursday: 7:40 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

• Pay of $17-$25/hr, based on experience

• Greet and welcome patients as they enter the officeto create a great first impression of our team
• Manage front office duties, including answering phones, checking office mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records
• Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers in the office
• File patient insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims, verification of benefits and explanation of coverage
• Post insurance and patient payments and process accounts receivables
• Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients
• Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems to optimize office potential
