Financial Center Manager - Round Lake Beach, IL (or surrounding area)

Overview

The Financial Center Manager (FCM) is responsible for leading and coaching a team to drive consistent operating rhythms, execute customer onboarding, and manage ongoing relationships. The FCM seeks to deepen Consumer and Small Business customer relationships, promote business growth through deposits, assets, fee‑based services, and the development and retention of new and existing customers across all channels.

• Lead and coach a team that delivers a memorable customer experience while maintaining consistent operating rhythms.
• Implement an integrated book‑of‑business strategy, ensuring all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment and are matched with the best banker for proactive support.
• Consistently use a consultative sales process to identify and meet the financial needs of current and prospective customers.
• Source, develop, coach, and lead a team that reinforces our Core Values and business strategies.
• Cultivate a One Bank culture by collaborating with business partners.
• Participate in community‑benefiting activities.
• Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, modeling ethical behavior.
• Provide timely feedback and opportunities for employee development and career growth.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a sales environment and preferred prior management experience.
• Experience in the financial industry and managing a P&L is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Strong business acumen and sound decision‑making ability.
• Required S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). The NMLS web site (mortgage.nationwidelicensingsystem.org) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment.

The base salary for this position reflects the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries will vary based on role, relevant skill set, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to salary, this role is eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan based on company, line of business, and/or individual performance.
