, you are happiest when you are moving, and we will not disappoint. Baxter is known for speed and high-quality products. Our manufacturing operations run around the clock to meet customer needs. Our talent works through challenges while meeting client order needs. Different shift assignments provide flexibility and safety. In this role you are responsible for tasks related to drug formulation, weighing raw materials, cleaning, mixing in sophisticated tanks and equipment, distilled water sanitization, filter integrity testing, and documentation.

Delivering life-saving products requires attention to detail and teamwork. We are a team that supports each other across shifts, fostering a culture that evolves processes and engages our workforce. You will receive extensive training within a tight-knit Manufacturing team, with additional training from your direct manager and peers when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Setting up equipment
  • Build and perform integrity testing on all production sterilizing filters
  • Make process adjustments in accordance with GMPs and Plant Procedures
  • Responsible for in-process inspections and all related documentation in accordance to specifications
  • Prepare raw materials for mixing, including verification of lot numbers and weights
  • Take batch samples with corresponding batch record to laboratory for testing and quality using aseptic techniques
  • Operate multiple types of equipment related to the mix operation as well as hand-operated equipment (e.g., calipers, scales, gauges, and other measuring devices)
  • Perform drop sanitization and maintain area housekeeping

What You’ll Bring

  • Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Visual acuity 20/25 Near Vision with or without corrective vision
  • Must have good documentation skills and be able to read, write, speak, and understand English to align with SOPs, Specs, training materials, GMPs, and manuals
  • Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing practices
  • Experience in GMP manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to read gauges, blueprints, pressurized systems, calibrated cylinders, and templates
  • Physical ability to walk, bend, stand, stoop, squat, climb stairs/ladders, and push/pull up to 65 pounds
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Comfortable wearing protective equipment with a respirator and working in confined spaces
  • Post-offer/pre-employment examination to test essential job functions
  • Comfortable working with pressurized equipment and in environments of
    -25 to 80 F, hot surfaces, and wet conditions

This position has a salary pay rate of $27.14 per hour. The rate is based on factors including relevant skills/experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/office location. This is an 8-hour M-F shift schedule: 1st Shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are not able to sponsor employment visas at this time.
