the testing and assessment facilitator performs a variety of professional, supervisory, technical, and administrative tasks in order to direct the administration of local, state, and national standardized testing of students. The testing and assessment coordinator collaborates with building leadership to prepare students for taking these standardized assessments and also assists school staff with preparation for test administrations. In conjunction with the associate principal for curriculum & instruction, the testing and assessment coordinator provides test results and consultation regarding the interpretation of test results in order to improve student achievement.

Education and experience:

  • bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, master's degree preferred.
  • a minimum of 3 years experience proctoring and/or coordinating standardized test administration for standard and accommodated conditions.
  • b. Credentials:

  • illinois professional educator's licensure with content area certification in grades 9-12
  • c.

  • delivers engaging professional learning on assessment data that is tailored to various audiences, including content area teachers and administrators.

  • coordinates testing for standard time and accommodated testing for act state testing, ap; psat, act/preact benchmark assessments, and access for mle.
  • maintains compliance with all standardized testing requirements and protocols
  • coordinates the act and college board application processes for all students with testing accommodations specified in iep and 504 documents
  • responsible for working with assistant principal for educational services to ensure proper identification and compliance with idea and ada regulations related to iep and 504 plan test accommodations
  • is knowledgeable about and accounts for specific disabilities in planning for testing events
  • meets all deadlines
  • makes student room assignments/develops rosters for standard and accommodated settings
  • recruits, trains, and supervises testing staff for standard and accommodated settings. Assures that staff administering test accommodations know and practice all required protocols.
