System Test Engineer

Position Type: Full Time

• Perform system-level testing
  , verification, and validation of embedded/medical device systems.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test procedures based on product requirements and system specifications.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing activities.
• Document test results, identify defects, and ensure timely closure through cross-functional collaboration.

• Develop and execute test scenarios involving industry-standard communication protocols
  .
• Design automated/semi-automated test setups where necessary.
• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of test frameworks.

• Utilize strong debugging, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills to identify issues at system and module levels.
• Work closely with development, hardware, and firmware teams to troubleshoot and resolve system defects.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Good collaboration skills
  , comfortable working in agile and fast-paced environments.
• Strong documentation discipline and adherence to quality processes (e.g., ISO, IEC standards).
• Ability to analyze system behavior, identify risks, and suggest improvements.

• Prior exposure to or understanding of the medical device domain
  , compliance requirements, and regulatory standards (e.g., IEC 60601, ISO 13485) is highly desirable.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• 2-3 years of experience in system testing, verification testing, and debugging of embedded or complex systems.

• Experience in medical device testing or regulated industry environments.
• Knowledge of automation tools, scripting, or protocol analyzers.
• Familiarity with requirement-management and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, DOORS).

Pay Range Minimum: $50,000/Year

Pay Range Maximum: $76,000/Year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
