What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop analog/digital circuits for microcontroller-based smart drug delivery systems, ensuring high performance and reliability in life-critical applications.
- Translate user needs into electrical requirements, specifications, and system architectures with clear documentation.
- Integrate electrical designs with mechanical and software components, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Define and support verification and validation testing, including development of test methods, protocols, and performance assessments.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, manage design deliverables and timelines, and communicate progress, risks, and results effectively.
- Perform circuit analysis and simulation (LTSpice/PSpice) to evaluate performance, environmental effects, and timing interfaces.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical engineering or related engineering field required. 1+ years related experience preferred.
- Knowledge in design of embedded microcontroller-based electronics devices, including FPGA-based, digital and analog design.
- Knowledge and experience using eCAD systems for printed circuit board schematic design and layout (Altium Designer, preferred), circuit analysis tools (LTSpice and Pspice), and data acquisition software (LabVIEW).
- Specific experience in design and development of sensing subsystems highly desirable.
Salary range: $76,000 to $104,500, plus annual incentive bonus.
