Position: School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Round Lake, Illinois
Step into an essential role providing high-quality nursing care to students as a contract RN for the  school year renewal cycle. This position is ideal for experienced registered nurses who have a background in school settings and are looking to contribute to a safe and healthy learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid RN license in Illinois
• Previous experience in school nursing or comparable pediatric nursing environment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families
• Proficient in developing and implementing health care plans for students
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all school health policies

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and routine or emergency care to students and staff as needed
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized health care plans
• Manage medication administration and medical procedures per physician's orders
• Conduct health screenings and immunization compliance review
• Serve as a health resource for staff, students, and families
• Maintain accurate and current health records for the student body
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings for students who require health accommodations
• Support health education programs and train staff on medical policies and procedures
