Research Associate Scientific I

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, is seeking a Research Associate Scientific I to join their team. As a Research Associate Scientific I, you will be part of the Research and Development department supporting laboratory and analytical testing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Round Lake, Illinois

What's the Job?
  • Conduct critical chemical and physical analyses on finished product R&D stability samples.
  • Support testing of raw materials, initial, in-process, and final product samples from manufacturing facilities or other R&D initiatives.
  • Perform chemical assays requiring precise analytical skills and understanding of chemistry principles.
  • Complete all testing, including special project / protocol testing, in a timely and appropriate manner to meet project schedules.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and regulations such as FDA, cGxP, and QSR.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biology).
  • At least 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
  • Experience with analytical chemistry instrumentation such as pH, UV, titrations, Particle, TOC is preferred.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; ability to organize and communicate complex information effectively.
