School Social Worker

Hourly Pay Range: $40-55 (based off years of experience, education, certs, etc.) Job Summary

A full-time opportunity is available for a qualified School Social Worker to provide direct and indirect services to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). This role is part of a collaborative team focused on supporting students’ mental health, social-emotional development, and academic success.

• Provide individual and group social work services to students with IEPs.
• Collaborate with staff and families to address behavioral and mental health needs.
• Conduct assessments and facilitate referrals to community-based resources.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, including suicide risk assessments and de-escalation.
• Support teachers with behavior management strategies and classroom interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including Medical Assistance billing.
• Travel between multiple school sites as needed.

• Strong understanding of school social work practices and human development.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and mental health assessments.
• Crisis management and conflict resolution expertise.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
