Senior Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)

$28-30/hr

LHH is partnering with a confidential client to hire a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented AP professional with strong general ledger experience and a background in high-volume, large corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Process high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable (invoices, coding, matching, and payment processing)

* Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close activities

* Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues

* Prepare and review journal entries related to AP and accruals

* Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls

* Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, accounting, and vendors

Qualifications

* 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including high-volume processing

* Strong general ledger knowledge and experience supporting month-end close

* Background in large corporate environments required

* Experience with Net Suite highly preferred

* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs preferred)

* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
