Construction Estimator
We're looking for a highly skilled Construction Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in public works or K-12 construction. If you're currently working as an estimator and are looking for a high-autonomy role where your numbers drive real outcomes — we want to talk to you!
Help us create a better place for students and our community - playgrounds, sports and CTE complexes, and other public works projects.
Important:
Please do not apply unless you're currently working as an estimator and have 5+ years of direct experience.
- Own estimates from concept through subcontractor buyout.
- Build competitive lump sum and negotiated bids for school, municipal, and specialty site projects.
- Work closely with architects, owners, and PMs to ensure precise scopes and pricing.
- Assemble proposal packages, instructions to bidders, clarifications, and bid tabs.
- Lead subcontractor outreach and recruiting, evaluations, and pricing strategy.
- Help us win smart, profitable work — and avoid the junk.
- 5+ years of experience estimating construction projects (ideally in the public or education sector)
- Proficiency with takeoff software (Bluebeam), Microsoft Excel, and estimating platforms (RS Means)
- Experience leading estimating efforts — not just assisting.
- Strong understanding of unit pricing, value engineering, and bid strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
We're one of the fastest-growing public works contractors in Texas.
We specialize in playgrounds, turf, track, flooring, and turnkey sports and CTE projects.
You'll work alongside people who are serious about quality and accountability — but still human.
Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) – you're not just an employee, you're an owner.
Competitive salary, full benefits, and opportunity to grow with the company location.
Must be based in Austin, Texas
