Veterinary Client Service Representative

Heart of Texas is hiring a part-time Veterinary Client Service Representative

Part-time: 2-3 shifts per week from 2pm-12am

The Client Care Coordinator's role in our practice is to promote a friendly and professional environment where emphasis is placed on quality medical care, client service & education, and teamwork.

The ideal candidate:

* Is friendly and able to demonstrate empathy with clients

* Able to remain calm and compassionate while carrying on a multitude of other tasks

* Works well on a team

* Has exceptional customer service skills

* Previous experience with patient scheduling preferred

* Previous veterinary experience preferred

* Bilingual abilities a plus

* Weekends and holidays may be required

Responsibilities:

* Greet patients in a prompt and friendly manner

* Checking in patients in a timely fashion

* Schedule appointments

* Receive all incoming calls with a calm, pleasant, professional demeanor

* Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of waiting room and reception area

* Payment processing and cash handling, and account balancing

* Accurately update client files and document communications

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience, with the hourly pay rate starting at $17-19/hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience. Weekends and holidays may be required, as we are a 24/7 hospital. These hours are shared amongst our team and have a generous pay differential.
