Veterinary Client Service Representative

Heart of Texas

Round Rock, TX

Full-time:
Sunday-Wednesday 2pm-12am. Shift differential available for night and weekend shifts.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $17 – $19 / hour. The final pay will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

About You

You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary hospital. You’re comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check in/check out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Your Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate:

  • Is friendly and able to demonstrate empathy with clients
  • Able to remain calm and compassionate while carrying on a multitude of other tasks
  • Works well on a team
  • Has exceptional customer service skills
  • Previous experience with patient scheduling preferred
  • Previous veterinary experience preferred
  • Bilingual abilities a plus
  • Weekends and holidays may be required
Responsibilities
  • Greet patients in a prompt and friendly manner
  • Check in patients in a timely fashion
  • Schedule appointments
  • Receive all incoming calls with a calm, pleasant, professional demeanor
  • Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of waiting room and reception area
  • Payment processing and cash handling, and account balancing
  • Accurately update client files and document communications
