As one of two Organizational Development Trainers, you’ll design and deliver engaging learning experiences that strengthen our workforce and drive performance. You’ll partner with leaders across the city to identify needs, create impactful content, and facilitate sessions that help employees succeed.
- Designing and implementing citywide, in-person and virtual training programs.
- Facilitating interactive sessions on leadership, communication, customer service, and more.
- Assessing organizational training needs and recommending solutions.
- Evaluating program effectiveness and making data-driven improvements.
- Leading team development, strategic planning, and problem-solving workshops.
- Staying current on best practices in adult learning and instructional design.
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You
- Are a strong communicator and facilitator who connects with diverse audiences.
- Have experience using assessment tools, learning management systems, and evaluation frameworks.
- Value teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- At least 4 years of experience in training and development, including:
- 2+ years designing training programs, AND
- 2+ years facilitating classroom or virtual training
Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, APTD, and/or CPTD.
