Stepping Stone School, a progressive and research-based school, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Preschool Teachers and Substitutes. - Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to enhance children's learning and development
- Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Foster a love for learning by engaging children in interactive and hands-on educational experiences
- Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment by closely supervising children and enforcing safety and cleaning protocols
- Promote positive behavior management techniques and encourage good social skills among children
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to provide updates on children's developmental domains
- Assist with daily tasks, such as mealtime, naptime, and maintaining cleanliness in the classroom
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
- Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to maintain a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Must pass background checks and meet all state licensing requirements
