This contract position involves working Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, in a dynamic school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students unique needs
• Deliver life skills instruction that promotes independence in daily living, communication, and social skills
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and other educators to support student progress
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and participation

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Valid Texas Special Education teaching certification required
• Experience teaching life skills or special education students preferred
• Strong knowledge of instructional strategies for students with disabilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to student-centered education and development
