On-campus role in Dripping Springs (Austin area), TX
$100,000 annual compensation, distributed weekly. Full health, dental, and vision coverage from day one
Relocating? We provide support.
Waypoint Academy has eliminated traditional classroom instruction in favor of adventure-driven life skills and AI-powered personalized academics. Students don't remain seated while an instructor lectures—they develop public speaking capabilities during outdoor excursions, cultivate leadership through collaborative challenges, and progress at twice the standard pace using tailored digital platforms.
This role is not conventional teaching. You will coach K‑12 students to unlock their capabilities through experiential outdoor workshops and goal‑focused motivational sessions. Your focus will be facilitating nature‑based experiences that develop tangible competencies (concentration, communication, collaboration), rather than delivering fixed curriculum. Individuals who excel in this environment believe education requires fundamental reimagining. You will observe students evolve from hesitant participants into self‑assured high achievers, with progress that is both measurable and immediate.
Dripping Springs provides Texas Hill Country scenery just 30 minutes from Austin's technology hub, live music venues, and culinary landscape. Over 300 days of sunshine annually, access to Barton Springs, and year‑round outdoor recreation.
Guide the transformation. Facilitate the journey. Submit your application.
