What You Will Be Doing- Conduct individual and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective techniques and acknowledging quantifiable progress
- Create and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as an exemplar of excellence for the team
- Evaluate and calibrate Guide documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric alignment and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings that maintain transparency around milestone advancement
- Draft family communications and conduct team huddles that synchronize priorities and strengthen collective commitment to campus-wide PreK readiness objectives
PreK Instructional Coach key responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or related field;
Master's or specialized training preferred - Minimum 5 years of experience in early years education, early childhood development, or related field
- Experience working with groups of young children ages 3 to 5
- Proven ability to design and implement play-based educational programs or curricula that advance developmental milestones e.g. Montessori
- At least 1 year of experience coaching or managing a team of educators with performance accountability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear family updates and team alignment
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Willingness to work in-person at Alpha Austin campus with relocation support provided if needed

Working with usThis is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
