Nontenure Faculty Pool - Health Sciences
Position Title:
Nontenure Faculty Pool - Health Sciences.
Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations, funding continuity, and departmental need.
Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online, depending on departmental needs.
This posting is for the Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 semesters. Candidates must be available for consideration in case the need arises.
Required QualificationsMinimum: master’s degree with related graduate work in the teaching field (or equivalent).
Preferred QualificationsA doctorate in a related health field and prior teaching experience.
