Direct Care LEAD PM

Job Description

Lead Direct Care Staff will provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to residents while also continuously supervising students. Supervise at night and assist students (ages 12 to 17 years) with online education and TC Curriculum when applicable. Minimum age requirement is 21 years old. Option: full‑time position.

• She/He shall be a person of spiritual maturity, amiable to the Assemblies of God doctrine, and in full agreement with the ATCOT mission statement
• Complete the Effective Biblical Counseling course or an equivalent course
• Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentor relationships
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ideally credentialed as a minister or pursuing credentials in the AG or doctrinally similar fellowship
• 30 hours of training in childcare or related field (Provided by ATCOT Adolescent annual in‑service)
• Maintain First Aid and CPR certification (Certification training provided by ATCOT)
• A background check and past pastoral reference is required

• College degree or work experience equivalence
• At least 1 year full‑time ministry experience
• A good driving record

• The Lead Direct Care staff is responsible to the Campus Coordinator and Director

Will primarily serve as an minister to students in the Adolescent program (12 to 17 years old).

Responsibilities include but not be limited to:

• Engage in religious instruction
• Work with other departments to comply with all TCUSA and Texas DFPS regulations
• Participate in campus events and chapels as required
• Supervision (following staff check‑off list responsibilities), mentoring, and interacting with residents during various activities, which may include but is not limited to online school, TC Curriculum, work periods, free time, and recreational activities
• Administer discipline as necessary according to ATCOT THRIVE policies
• Minister to students as opportunity arises and/or during scheduled sessions
• Become a mentor to students
• All other duties as assigned by Director
