ScheduleInstructor positions are part‑time with classes held primarily on Saturdays between 7:00 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. (Teaching schedules may vary based on morning and/or afternoon class availability. Some locations may offer weekday evening classes.)
Program OverviewOur focused, 18‑week program provides accessible, hands‑on education to students from all walks of life. Classes take place directly in a doctor’s office rather than a traditional classroom—allowing students to learn in the environment they will eventually work in. Instructors will use their clinical experience and training to teach our students the skills they need to succeed as entry‑level medical assistants.
Responsibilities- Prepare for each class by reviewing the provided curriculum and utilizing lab stations as needed.
- Demonstrate medical skills and procedures and assist students as they practice hands‑on in the lab.
- Evaluate individual and group performance and adjust instruction to meet student learning needs.
- Enforce classroom management and ensure adherence to safety precautions.
- Convey curriculum and pertinent skills via lecture and hands‑on demonstrations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+ years as a medical assistant or related employment.
- CMA, RMA, CCMA credentials.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Basic computer skills (emailing, printing, scanning, troubleshooting, connecting to Wi‑Fi).
- A passion for helping others achieve their personal goals.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to commute to the location(s).
Part‑time, in‑person.
Pay$21.00 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
ExperienceMedical assisting: 5 years (required).
License / Certification- BC/BE (preferred).
- CPR Certification (preferred).
