Your background will include:

• Experience providing social work services in educational settings, ideally with students from grades 5-9
• Strong understanding of factors affecting child and adolescent development
• Confidence in assessing student needs and delivering targeted counseling, interventions, and crisis support
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administration to develop plans for student success
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills when working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to develop and conduct group sessions on topics such as conflict resolution, coping strategies, and peer relationships
• Active, valid licensure as a Social Worker in Texas (LMSW or LCSW)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to support students' emotional and social well-being
• Partner with staff and families to identify barriers to learning and develop actionable support plans
• Intervene directly in crisis situations and serve as a key resource for students facing adverse experiences
• Deliver preventative education and social-emotional learning programs
