Description:
The Mathematics Department at Texas State University seeks outstanding educators to contribute to its teaching mission by filling several lecturer positions beginning in Fall 2026. These are non‑tenure track, nine‑month, full‑time teaching positions.
- A Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate hours in mathematics is required. Candidates whose degree is in a closely related field must meet SACS accreditation standards to teach in a mathematics department. Previous undergraduate teaching experience is required.
- A Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related area is preferred.
- A cover letter outlining specific academic and professional experiences relevant for appointment (the cover letter must specifically address interest in these non‑tenure track positions).
- A teaching statement.
- Unofficial transcripts from all degree‑granting institutions (all in one document).
- A résumé or curriculum vitae.
