Nontenure Line Faculty Pool - Department of Accounting (FY26)
The McCoy College of Business seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach Accounting courses. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester, with appointments based on student demand on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Eligible candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and/or online. Appointment re‑renewal is contingent upon satisfactory performance evaluations, funding availability, and departmental need.
ResponsibilitiesTeach up to four Accounting courses per semester as needed; adapt instruction for face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid delivery; maintain professional development and student advising; participate in departmental meetings and activities; meet teaching quality standards and evaluation requirements.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.
- Previous teaching experience at the university level.
