Nontenure Faculty Pool - Criminal Justice and Criminology

Position:
Nontenure Faculty Pool—Criminal Justice and Criminology. The School seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty positions to teach courses in criminal justice and criminology.

Potential teaching opportunities include undergraduate courses on the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses, graduate courses on the San Marcos campus and online. Positions are contingent on available funding.

Required Qualifications
  • A master’s degree in criminal justice, a related field, or a J.D., is the minimum requirement for teaching.
  • A Ph.D. or J.D. is typically required for graduate program teaching, though a master’s with substantial relevant work experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience.
