Your responsibility centers on the morning component: delivering targeted structured literacy instruction in small groups that advance every K-2 student in phonics, decoding, fluency, and writing. You control the instructional design. You interpret the data. You reorganize groups and modify approaches dynamically.

The remaining portion of your day involves coaching students through adaptive learning platforms, cultivating the relationships that push every learner to 100% app-based goal attainment. • Delivering small-group structured literacy instruction: explicit phonics, decoding strategies, fluency development, and foundational writing for all K-2 students, not exclusively those identified for intervention
• Interpreting student performance data from adaptive platforms and running records to reconfigure groups and refine instruction between teaching blocks
• Providing one-on-one and small-group coaching through adaptive learning software, establishing relationships that accelerate goal achievement
• Constructing your own lesson sequences based on structured literacy frameworks, calibrated to each group's present skill level and learning velocity
• Integrating selective outdoor or tactile activities to strengthen literacy concepts when they authentically support instructional objectives

• Drafting IEPs or managing pull-out intervention logistics with classroom instructors. All students fall within your instructional scope.
• Monitoring students passively while they navigate learning apps. You engage actively to drive goal completion, not observe screen interaction.
• Remaining inside a conventional classroom throughout the day. Students transition outdoors in the afternoon, making your literacy instruction concentrated and dynamic.
• Correcting piles of worksheets — adaptive platforms manage practice volume and progress documentation, allowing you to prioritize live instruction.

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
