Youth Development, Career & Life Skills Coaching, Training Instructor / Specialist, Tutoring
You have accomplished difficult things. You have operated within genuine standards. You understand the distinction between "attempting" and delivering results. If you are ready to apply that discipline in a context where it reshapes a student's path, this position is designed for you.
Alpha School employs AI-driven 1:1 instruction, enabling students to complete core academics in roughly two hours daily. This structure liberates the remainder of the day for life-skill development, passion-led projects, and authentic personal growth. At our most rigorous campuses, students require more than oversight. They need a credible mentor capable of assessing the environment, establishing expectations, and guiding them through resistance, distraction, and uncertainty.
This is not a conventional teaching position. You will not deliver lectures, assign grades, or develop curriculum. You will coach. You will facilitate demanding life-skills workshops. You will leverage data to identify what is limiting a student's progress, then challenge them with intention and precision until they execute.
If you possess an elite credential and a history of elevating others' performance, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing- Facilitate 1:1 and small-group coaching engagements that translate student objectives into reliable execution and trackable advancement
- Leverage analytics and individual goals to identify barriers and establish ambitious, personalized motivation strategies
- Conduct rigorous life-skills workshops grounded in authentic storytelling, guided reflection, and practical application, followed by mastery evaluation
- Facilitate daily opening sessions that establish culture, reinforce elevated expectations, and prepare students before work begins
- Build trusted mentor relationships with students and families through high standards, reliability, and clear judgment
- Conduct traditional classes, deliver lectures, or provide tutoring as a conventional instructor
- Develop curriculum, write lesson plans, or evaluate student assignments
- Supervise staff, oversee campus operations, or assume administrative leadership responsibilities
- Compromise standards to achieve short-term compliance or superficial success
