As Meridian’s very own after school enrichment and childcare program, it’s a fun and structured extension of a student's day ike many onsite after school programs, we manage it internally to offer a well-rounded experience that supports Meridian’s mission.

Group Leader
Each Group Leader works with their specific group of students each afternoon (including check-in, snack time, outdoor activities, enrichment, and homework/quiet time). Group leaders are fast learners; the position has a five day training period, with ample opportunities to learn more as you go.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of experience in childcare, and the ability to obtain and pass the required background check. CPR/First Aid certification is required within 14 days of employment. Positions are determined by the Triple A Manager and are contingent upon the interview process. If hired, positions are subject to change.
Due to the nature of this position and our business, fingerprinting and background checks will be conducted as a condition of employment. A fingerprinting/background check is required at the new hire ’s cost.
What are the hours?Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays from 2:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Wednesdays from 12:00 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Triple A staff members are asked to work up to 25 hours per week. There is the possibility for additional hours through other school programs.
Please keep in mind, this position is for the school year with contract dates of August 4, 2026
- May 28, 2027.
Working with students is high-energy, fun, and rewarding. This position operates in a professional, non-smoking educational environment, which at many times is busy with moderate noise and unscheduled interruptions.
