Senior Electrical Engineer

A well established and growing manufacturer is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer III for its Round Rock, Texas facility. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing innovative electrical products that support critical physical infrastructure used across global technology environments.

In this role, you will contribute at a senior technical level while also leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and helping drive high quality, scalable engineering solutions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, hands on design experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and project objectives are met.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust electrical solutions using industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and constructive feedback to junior engineers.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, performance issues, and system level concerns to optimize product performance.
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and engineering methodologies and propose improvements to products and processes.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions related to scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
• Document technical specifications, system architectures, and development processes to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 9 years of professional experience in a senior level electrical engineering role.

  Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
• Experience breaking down complex systems into functional design components.
• Ability to evaluate and present multiple technical solutions for critical product functions such as processors, controllers, memory, and sensors.
• Advanced proficiency with CAD tools for schematic and PCB design.
• Experience architecting, writing, and debugging scripts or code for hardware or test systems.
• Hands on expertise using laboratory equipment for hardware and system testing.
• Strong knowledge of applicable engineering codes and safety standards.

• Works on a computer for the majority of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional travel by automobile or airplane may be required.
