Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a leading global semiconductor equipment manufacturer to identify a motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer. This organization supports major semiconductor manufacturers worldwide and is known for delivering advanced process solutions and high-performance systems within the semiconductor industry.
This role is responsible for supporting customer sites through equipment installation, technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ongoing service support. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on semiconductor equipment experience (diffusion preferred), and the flexibility to travel and respond to urgent service needs when required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform installation, start-up, and qualification of semiconductor equipment at customer facilities.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and process-related issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective solutions.
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, technical reports, and maintenance records.
- Collect and analyze equipment data to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams to ensure effective communication and resolution.
- Provide responsive support, including night calls and weekend service when necessary.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support installations, upgrades, and ongoing customer needs.
- Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related field required).
- Semiconductor equipment and process experience preferred, particularly diffusion systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.
- Willingness to travel 20% or more, including international travel.
- Ability to work effectively in cleanroom and high-tech manufacturing environments.
