Ability has partnered with a well-established and highly respected engineering firm in the Round Rock area to identify a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PE).

This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects,including high-end residential, K-12, commercial, civil, and municipal—within a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

The Licensed Mechanical Engineer will lead the design and execution of mechanical systems across multiple project types, while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, code-compliant solutions.

• Lead mechanical system design and project execution across varied construction projects
• Develop and review plans, specifications, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Several years of experience in mechanical engineering within the AEC/construction industry
• Broad project experience across multiple sectors (not limited to one specialty)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a client-facing environment

• Base salary up to $180,000
  , depending on experience
