Technical Staff Hardware Engineer, Concept Architect

What you’ll achieve

As a Technical Staff Hardware Engineer, you’ll architect enterprise class hardware, made up of a wide range of cutting‑edge technologies, to dozens of product lines and thousands of customers. You’ll be exposed to all aspects of hardware and systems engineering working closely with firmware, mechanical, power and thermal engineers. You’ll work in a fast‑paced environment with a team of highly skilled engineers providing both support and guidance.

You will:

• Work with Product Management and Marketing to fine‑tune requirements
• Lead a cross functional engineering team to create a concept that meets those requirements
• Be responsible for delivering a project architecture and concept to include feasibility studies, defining architecture, SI constraints, Electronic Computer‑Aided Design (ECAD) and Mechanical Computer‑Aided Design (MCAD) guidance and documenting key risks; the work will be handed over to a development team
• Author and coordinate the creation of concept specifications and design guides
• Use excellent communication skills to discuss requirements and provide technology updates to multiple Dell EMC product groups and development teams
