Position: Team Leader
Location: Austin, TX
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a project team responsible for traffic design and production
- Serve as a day-to-day resource for technical guidance, mentorship, and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct regular staff meetings, workload planning, and project progress reviews.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, AASHTO, and company standards on all deliverables.
- Review and approve project plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in performance reviews and support staff professional development plans.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation.
- Assist Group Leaders with business development and proposal efforts as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in traffic design and project management.
- Proven ability to lead and develop project teams.
- Working knowledge of TXDOT and municipal standards.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
