Field Application Engineer

• Develop and maintain overall technical relationships with customers
• Review high-power cable designs with customers' design engineers
• Visit customers frequently to help design high-performance, low-cost products
• Secure design wins and provide customer feedback to internal teams
• Work with the quality team and address quality issues locally
• Conduct testing to replicate failures, inspect products, and perform preliminary failure analysis
• Provide customer service for complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries
• Provide technical marketing support for Biz Link products
• Create, manipulate, and utilize three-dimensional object representations
• Prepare materials and participate in product presentations
• Assist with the development and growth of company and engineering resources
• Provide feedback to improve Biz Link products and services and enhance customer experience
• Handle other tasks assigned by the reporting manager

• Bachelors' or Masters' degree in engineering discipline; mechanical engineering preferred
• 3+ years experience in the interconnect industry
• Experience working with data center wire harnesses and cable assemblies
• 3D model capabilities required
• Proven experience reviewing and assisting in updating high-powered cabling designs
• Strong technical communication and leadership skills to lead investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines
• Decisive, focused, and proactive drive for execution
• Strategic and innovative approach to complex engineering issues
• Timely communication with customers and cross-functional departments
• Successful completion of a background check required as a condition of employment
