We are hiring a sharp, experienced Tax Manager to lead client tax engagements, oversee complex individual returns, and resolve IRS notices with confidence and professionalism.
This is a key leadership role inside a firm that is growing quickly — and we need someone who can own tax work at a high level while helping us build a world‑class tax department. You will own quality control and client outcomes for a portfolio of premium clients.
This is not a back‑office compliance role. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of a premium tax strategy firm.
What You’ll Do Tax Leadership & Review- Prepare and review complex 1040, 1120, 1120‑S, and 1065 returns for high‑income business owners and real estate investors
- Ensure accuracy, audit‑proof documentation, and strategic alignment
- Train and support preparers and junior staff as the team grows
- Handle IRS and state notice resolution end‑to‑end
- Communicate professionally with agencies and clients
- Build repeatable systems for faster, smoother resolution
- Participate in tax planning implementation and proactive advisory
- Work directly with the CEO and leadership team on high‑level cases
- Help clients achieve real outcomes: wealth, time freedom, and legacy
- Improve workflows, checklists, and internal tax processes
- Help us scale efficiently while maintaining premium quality
- Utilize AI tools and modern systems to increase speed and accuracy
You may be a great fit if you are:
- CPA or EA required
- Strong in 1040 preparation and review
- Experienced in IRS notice resolution and client representation
- Organized, proactive, and highly accountable
- Comfortable working in person with a fast‑moving leadership team
