Finance Operations Intern

• Develop and maintain models used to calculate fully burdened cost rates
• Assist with preparing and analyzing budgets across functional areas
• Support finance team activities related to external audits
• Contribute to projects involving deferred revenue recognition and financial reporting
• Learn and support monthly financial close and reporting processes
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Assist in developing reports, dashboards, and analytical tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and improve operational efficiency
• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to real-world business challenges

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship will not be provided
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Power Point
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Entering junior or senior year of undergraduate studies (preferred)
• Coursework in GAAP, accounting principles, financial reporting, or related subjects (preferred)
• Previous internship, co-op, project, leadership, or work experience in a professional environment (preferred)
• Interest in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and business operations (preferred)
• Experience using data analysis tools, dashboards, or reporting platforms (preferred)
  Strategic mindset with a continuous improvement approach (preferred)
• Demonstrated leadership through academic, volunteer, extracurricular, or community activities (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy (preferred)
• Ability to identify innovative solutions and recommend process improvements (preferred)
