Set up and operate hemodialysis machines;
Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation, administer heparin as delegated;
Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weight and monitor patient during dialysis;
Initiate dialysis treatment per orders and adjust flow parameters as prescribed; monitor treatment response;
Maintain accurate documentation on Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and communicate changes to the nurse or supervisor
