Travel RN - Case Management​/Utilization Review - Case Management

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Case Management position at a hospital in Round Rock, TX, requiring at least 1 year of case management experience and prior travel experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Case Management department of a 209-bed acute care hospital,

• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break,

• 13-week contract,

• RN case manager-to-patient ratio of 1:25,

• Team includes 7 RN Case Managers, 5 Social Workers, and 1 Case Management Assistant on day shift,

• EMR systems include Midas, Meditech, Interqual, and Care Port,

• Equipment used includes Workstations on Wheels (WOWs),

• Occasional weekend coverage may be required,

• No on-call requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start),

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN case management experience required,

• Prior travel nursing experience required,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration,

• One professional reference required,

• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include care coordination and discharge planning,

• HCA case management experience is preferred,

• Experience with Midas, Interqual, and Meditech is preferred,

• Navy scrubs are required for RN Case Managers,

• Permanent positions may be available on this unit
