Curtiss-Wright Round Rock is a global engineering and design manufacture leader with over six decades of experience designing sensors and instrumentation and control solutions for harsh environments and mission-critical applications in heavily regulated markets like nuclear, aerospace, and oil and gas. This role is crucial for strengthening project execution and serves as a developmental path towards a full Project Manager position by coordinating schedules, deliverables, and cross-functional communication.

What You’ll Actually Do
  • Project Execution Support:
    Support Project Managers with day-to-day execution of assigned projects, tracking schedules, milestones, risks, and action items.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    Serve as an internal liaison, coordinating internal meetings, documenting decisions, and helping resolve communication gaps between departments.
  • Project Reporting and Documentation:
    Maintain accurate project records, schedules, meeting notes, and status updates, supporting weekly reviews and ensuring documentation is complete.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Support:
    Support Project Managers in preparing customer updates and presentations, participating in meetings, and ensuring customer questions are routed and concerns resolved.
  • Internal Project Ownership:
    Manage selected lower-risk internal projects or work packages from initiation to completion under guidance, gradually assuming responsibility for larger projects.
The Must-Haves
  • Background:
    Must be a U.S. Citizen;
    Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, project management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:

    1 to 3 years' of relevant experience in project coordination, manufacturing, engineering, operations, customer service, or supply chain.
  • Skills:

    Strong organizational and follow-up skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical teams.
  • Bonus:
    Experience in aerospace, defense, nuclear, industrial manufacturing, or another regulated industry is preferred; PMP is a plus.
