Round Rock, TX | Full-Time | $23–$27/hr

A growing manufacturer in Round Rock, TX is hiring experienced TIG / GTAW Welders for high-purity stainless steel fabrication. This is a great opportunity for welders with experience in TIG welding, stainless steel tubing, pipe welding, orbital welding, or precision fabrication.

What You'll Do

• TIG/GTAW weld high-purity stainless steel tubing and process piping
• Set up and operate manual TIG and automated orbital welding equipment
• Weld stainless steel, aluminum, Hastelloy, Inconel, and titanium
• Perform butt and fillet welds on tubing and pipe
• Work in various welding positions, including 1G, 2G, 5G, and 6G
• Read blueprints, AWS weld symbols, and welding procedures
• Inspect finished work using precision measuring tools
• Maintain strict quality and dimensional tolerances
• Follow safety and manufacturing procedures

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of TIG/GTAW welding experience
• Stainless steel welding experience
• Knowledge of internal argon purge welding
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Basic shop math and measuring-tool skills
• High-purity, orbital, semiconductor, sanitary piping, or process piping experience is a plus
• AWS or ASME certifications are a plus, but not required

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works primarily in a manufacturing environment around production and welding equipment. The environment may include moderate noise, inert gases, and industrial cleaning materials.

Candidates should be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch as required during production. The position may occasionally require lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
