We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fabrication Operator to join our shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, welding, assembly, print reading, and fitting. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role is based at our shop located in Round Rock, Texas. You must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled facility.
What is the role?- Perform fabrication operations according to engineering drawings and production schedules
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions
- Fit and assemble fabricated components to required specifications and tolerances
- Operate saws and cutting equipment to prepare materials for fabrication
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required
- Assemble fabricated products and subassemblies accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards
- Assist with inventory management and material handling activities within the warehouse
- Report equipment issues, quality concerns, and safety hazards to shop foreman and/or quality inspector
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 2 years of fabrication or manufacturing experience
- Demonstrated experience in:
Welding (MIG,TIG and/or Stick), saws/material cutting and operations, mechanical assembly, fitting/fabrication, blueprint/drawing reading. - Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling practices
- Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and micrometers
- Ability to perform all work in accordance with established company procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50
LBS, walk, climb, use various equipment and perform physical work throughout the shift - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Overhead crane certification (preferred)
- Welding certification (preferred)
- Experience in a lean manufacturing environment (preferred)
Candidates should possess strong welding, fabrication, fitting, and assembly skills, with the ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate understands safe material handling practices, demonstrates effective problem-solving and communication abilities, and can work successfully both independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement is essential.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be comfortable working around industrial noise, welding fumes, and moving equipment, while adhering to established safety protocols. The ability to safely operate powered industrial vehicles and overhead lifting equipment is required.
