Job Description & How to Apply Below

Texas Baptist Children’s Home (TBCH) is a Christian, faith-based non-profit organization located in Round Rock, Texas, established in 1950 when Louis and Billie Sue Henna donated 112 acres of land to provide care for abused and neglected children. The organization’s core mission is to embrace children and families in need in order to empower and equip them for a promising future.

Operating under the Children At Heart Ministries umbrella alongside other ministries like Miracle Farm and Gracewood, TBCH is guided by strong core values that emphasize being authentically Christian, building trust, connecting compassionately, and demonstrating Christ’s love. Their ultimate goal is to provide a safe home and a stable family environment for individuals who are lost, hurting, or hopeless, giving them the opportunity to heal, grow, and reach their God-given potential.

To achieve its mission, TBCH offers a variety of comprehensive residential and support programs designed to keep families together and foster independence. TBCH offers a wide variety of residential and nonresidential services for children and families in need. Based on Christian values, these services are designed to provide a safe, nurturing home for children and to stabilize and strengthen family relationships.

The Family Care Program provides a safe haven where single mothers and their children can live together in a supervised environment while the mothers work toward self-sufficiency. For young adults ages 18 to 24 who are facing homelessness or aging out of the foster care system, the Home Base Program offers housing, mentoring, and case management to help them pursue education or career goals.

Additionally, TBCH operates the Welcome HOME Drop-in Center—a free resource hub offering supplies, GED classes, and job readiness help—and the Hope Counseling Program, which partners with local organizations to provide no-cost, trauma-informed counseling to Williamson County residents. Through these services, TBCH continues to make a significant impact, having served 223 residents—including 66 moms, 127 children, and 30 young adults—and provided over 12,500 hours of counseling in 2025 alone.
