Key Responsibilities- Provide perioperative nursing care in an 11-room operating suite performing a high volume and variety of surgical cases including general, orthopedic, neuro, robotic, vascular, and cardiovascular procedures
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio throughout intraoperative care, adapting to 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts based on unit need
- Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems, laparoscopic towers, microscopes, stealth navigation, and endovascular hybrid room equipment within a Meditech EMR environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including charge nurses, surgical techs, and PCTs across day and weekend shift configurations
- Fulfill on-call requirements as assigned and remain flexible to rotate across different room types and case specialties
- Occasionally assist in the orientation and support of new graduate technicians or RNs as needed
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of general OR experience with demonstrated knowledge across multiple case types
- Experience in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurosurgery as a scrub or circulating RN
- Ability to work weekends and fulfill call requirements as determined by unit need
- Candidates applying for cardiovascular OR roles must have a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience including all adult open heart cases, open and endovascular procedures (including Triple-A surgery), and willingness to collaborate with the cath lab on TAVR cases
- Trauma surgery experience in an OR setting
- Vascular surgery experience including fistula creation and endarterectomy procedures
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery platforms and endovascular hybrid room workflows
- Work in a technologically advanced OR environment featuring robotic surgical systems, a dedicated endovascular hybrid room, and a broad range of complex surgical specialties
