We're looking for Cardiac Cath Lab RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Round Rock, TX. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
As a Cath Lab RN, you'll work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cardiovascular surgical environment. Responsibilities include maintenance and monitoring of EKG equipment and assisting during angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology procedures.
As a Cath Lab Travel Nurse, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:
- Learn complex technologies effectively.
- Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose and treat heart conditions.
- Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties, and stent placements.
- Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter‑defibrillators (ICDs).
- Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
- Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds while moving patients.
- Cope with a fast‑paced environment and interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Requirements:
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend. Total Med Travel Job .
