• Review patient’s history prior to beginning physical assessment and incorporate findings into the exam.
• Perform physical patient assessments/reassessments on a regular basis in accordance with department standards.
• Incorporate available technology to aid in physical assessment.
• In collaboration with interdisciplinary members of the team, formulate a plan of care including expected outcomes for each patient based on diagnoses derived from patient assessments.

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a registered nurse (RN).

• Graduate of accredited nursing school with Nursing Diploma, Associate’s Degree, or higher level education.

• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. FT/PT/PRN colleagues with a compact license from a state other than Texas must: apply for Texas RN license within 60 days from hire; obtain current TX RN license within 6 months of application for TX RN license.
• BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification – 90‑day grace period to obtain.
• NRP certification – 90‑day grace period to obtain.
