Position Overview:

The Clinical Teaching Assistant will work under the supervision of a Master's or Doctorally prepared nursing faculty member to assist with supervision of students during clinical learning experiences.

Schedule:

Round Rock, TX, part‑time.

Proposed Minimum Salary: $2,283.75 monthly.

• Serve as a clinical supervisor for nursing students during clinical learning experiences.
• Assist faculty with supervision of student skill performance, student evaluation, and other aspects of student learning in clinical settings.
• Consult with nursing faculty members in clinical settings.
• Provide occasional classroom assistance during activities as required.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum one year as a Registered Nurse in a clinical hospital setting.
• License:
  Current Registered Nurse license in Texas.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  Clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in the designated teaching area; excellent verbal and written communication; ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others; ability to perform all tasks safely without injury to self and others in compliance with A&M System and HSC guidelines.

• Master of Science in Nursing.
• Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
