Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The shift duration is 12 hours, from 07:00 to 19:00. The position is for a duration of 13 weeks. The facility has a total of 48 private rooms and additional hallway stretchers. Patient ratios are 1:4 in the Emergency Department, 1:5 for behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac/trauma.

There is a well-equipped environment with Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers. Candidates are expected to perform various procedures, including splinting, EKGs, trauma assists, and central line placements. Behavioral health de-escalation and resuscitation techniques are also required. The ideal candidate should be a multitasker and a team player. The dress code consists of navy blue scrub attire, while ensuring compliance with established policies.

Engagement with active committees is encouraged within the unit. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative team setting.
