Overview
Job Title:
Quality Manager
The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products and/or services consistently meet regulatory requirements, internal standards, and customer expectations. This role leads quality assurance activities, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures full compliance with applicable industry standards.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and internal policies
- Lead internal and external audits, including certification and surveillance audits
- Monitor, analyze, and report quality performance metrics (KPIs)
- Identify quality issues and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and product/service quality
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and customer complaints
- Develop and deliver training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices
- Oversee supplier quality management and conduct vendor evaluations
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance purposes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma methodologies)
- Report quality performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to senior management
- Proven experience in Quality Management or Quality Assurance
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or industry-specific standards)
- Experience with auditing processes and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
