Position: (USA) Personal Shopper Lead - Sam's

Position Summary

Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques. Ensures member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines, supports compliance with company policies and procedures, and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.

Maintains safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, and disposing of hazardous materials in accordance with company steel standard guidelines. Corrects and reports unsafe situations to management.

Supports the Sam's Club e‑commerce plan by overseeing operations of the e‑commerce programs (e.g., Club Pick Up, Ship From Club), auditing online customer feedback, and working to resolve customer complaints. Escalates unresolved issues to management and identifies trends, generating causes, and supporting management in implementing solutions.

Supervises Associates supporting the e‑commerce programs by training and providing resources to meet store associate needs. Assigns duties, provides feedback, communicates goals, and ensures associate coverage at the e‑commerce pickup location.

Executes the Sam's Club Pickup plan and processes by updating operations with key performance indicators, auditing customer orders, ensuring correct fulfillment, and maintaining equipment availability. Evaluates CPU performance and comparable metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Supports projects to improve CPU efficiencies by leveraging key performance indicators and leadership insight to resolve operational gaps. Models appropriate picking and loading, executes process improvement projects, and communicates solutions to ensure Sam's Club Pickup is properly staffed.

Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, offering guidance and support, and resolving issues while promoting company products and services.

Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. Handles claims and returns, performs zoning, stocking, and product display organization, removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise, and protects fragile or high‑shrink merchandise.

Oversees picking and staging of club pick up orders, ensuring products are selected and staged per company policy.

Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners. Analyzes information from multiple sources, monitors progress, and identifies improvement opportunities.

Promotes compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards by explaining and demonstrating how to apply them. Leads and participates in teams, sharing resources and information, managing customer needs, and coordinating work assignments.

Encourages inclusivity, teamwork, and mentorship while holding oneself and others accountable to ethical and compliance standards. Serves customers and members first, makes well‑balanced decisions, and strives for operational excellence through continuous improvement.
